Our Planet in Our Hands

"108 diverse individuals will express social awareness through unique T-shirts."

I participated in a t-shirt design project held by Voice Gathering. The project included 108 people including artists, creators, entrepreneurs, activists, and cultural figures from around the world. Through the t-shirts, they wanted to create a chain of “raising voices” spreading from Thailand to various parts of Asia and further around the world. Their aim was to reach more people to raise awareness of social issues. 

I chose an environmental awareness theme, as I wanted to express that our planet is in our hands. We all have to act together to preserve and protect our planet. I thought about the string games that I played with my sisters as a young child. They are games that you cannot do alone, as you need other people’s assistance to get to the next step. This gave me the idea to illustrate the string game in the Earth’s shape as a reflection of how we need to work together to create a better and safer future. 

It was an honor to be part of this project, which was for a great cause. I was fortunate that my design was one of the top 10 best-selling T-shirts, and I sold 13 T-shirts at the event.
