The 2025 Year Greeting Card

To celebrate the Year of the Blue Snake for 2025, I participated in a yearly greeting card contest held by a Seoul post office. I shaped a blue snake into the numbers 2025, using a monochromatic colour palette to match. 

According to zodiac lore, the snake is known for its wise and humorous characteristics. I gave mine a discreet smile to depict its sense of humour while delivering a positive message for the new year. I also added white sparkles to the top of the illustration to show that, like a wise snake, you can achieve anything and overcome any obstacles in the year 2025. I intentionally used vectorized flat elements and subtle patterns for the background to make the snake stand out.
