Mos Matron Lookbook

Commission Work︱2022

A fashion lookbook created for the final project of a graduate of the Birmingham City University (BCU) fashion program. The lookbook was named MOS MATRON, the latin term for “fashion female.” The student wanted the lookbook to have a contemporary, minimalist feel with a major focus on the fashion images.

The goal of MOS MATRON was to showcase that women can be portrayed in a non-sexual manner in fashion advertisements. I helped select the core images for the lookbook, which I then incorporated into the layout. I also created a ‘W’ logo that simultaneously stands for woman and MOS MATRON, based on the student’s ideas, for the lookbook cover. All of my graphic elements and suggestions were used for the final submission of the lookbook, and were met with positive feedback.
