Embrace

This poster was the first piece of work I created after returning to South Korea from the UK. Named ‘Embrace’, it was created for a group exhibition called ‘hechyeomoyeo’ using the risograph print effect. The illustration features numerous hugs in a rainbow of colors to express different kinds of emotion, changes, and pain. It was made at a point in my life when I was struggling to readjust to a new environment while also dealing with changes in my personal life. It made me realize that in life, one must accept and embrace different situations – even when they are painful.
