Birmingham City University Animation

An animation that reimagines the logo of Birmingham City University (BCU). Inspired by the Wassily Kandinsky quote, ‘everything starts from a dot’, I created a 4-second animation using dots, lines, and triangles. The geometric shapes come together at the end to evolve into the university’s lion emblem. I wanted to create this logo to honour the university where I began my new chapter as an illustrator. Moving to the UK to finally follow my passion was a huge step in my life. The animation represents the personal evolution I underwent while actualizing my professional goals.
