Rolled Pumpkin Halloween Poster

I collaborated with a South Korea-based editorial designer, Godi, to design a poster for the cocktail bar Rolled Pumpkin’s Halloween event. I handed the key visual elements of the poster: the illustrations, and the typography and font. During the first meeting, I created an initial sketch featuring skeleton hands holding cocktails to highlight the key message of the poster. The client was pleased with the elements I created, but wanted the illustration to have a softer feel.
With their feedback in mind, I created a revised, softer version in Adobe Illustrator. I used the bar’s cocktails as inspiration, but added more Halloween elements to stay true to the theme.
Despite being a Korean bar, the client requested posters in English, which was a merit for me. They enjoyed the poster so much that they also requested graphics for Instagram posts. I kept elements from the original poster, but added witty phrases to attract customers. Happy with the results, the client posted the illustrations to their social media channels and printed the poster as well.
